Green Crafts Club – soaps!

Pottery Club- candle holders!

What could be nicer than spending an hour after school getting creative in a nature-friendly way? We do loads of cool crafts, from soap and paper making, to leaf pictures and fabric printing, via simple weaving and perhaps a bit of papier mache thrown in too. It’s all about having fun, being creative and letting ideas flow, so you can make something to be really proud of. Connect back to nature, and the good, old fashioned (sustainable) ways of doing things.

We might do any of these:

  • Making paper
  • Weaving
  • Leaf pictures
  • Stone painting
  • Fabric printing
  • Origami
  • Straw weaving
  • Flower pressing
  • DIY-clay making
  • Papier mache models
  • String/paper baskets
  • Soap making
  • Recycled crafts
  • Bark/plant/flower rubbing
  • Tie-dye
  • pottery
  • and more…

Parents really treasure what their children bring home from Claytime clubs; the poppies we made to mark the 100th anniversary of Armistice are a perfect example of something we are sure will be kept for years to come…

We also do modelling, using a range of materials from professional modelling clays, Polymer clay, wire armatures, and even the occasional foray into fun stuff like marbling.

Claytime gives kids the chance to make fun, vibrant ceramic pieces that they will treasure forever. We build up skills, week on week, and value kids having fun, and their amazing creativity, over everything else.

To book a place on a school club, click the menu option for your child’s school, and fill in the booking request form. We can’t wait to help your child have fun with clay!
